The final season of the show is all set to get divided into two parts and will consist of 12 episodes. Season 8 is scheduled to premiere on May 14, 2023. New additions to The Walking Dead universe will continue this year with The Walking Dead: Dead City, starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan, set to arrive in June, and Norman Reedus spin-off The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will arrive next year. New Rick Grimes and Michonne Walking Dead series will follow in 2024 as well.
Fear the Walking Dead is the spin-off series of The Walking Dead. The plot follows two families in the suburbia of Los Angeles where everyone has to band together and find ways to survive the zombie apocalypse. In the final season, the audience will see the continuation of the story after a seven-year time-jump post the conclusion of the 7th season. Morgan and Madison had hoped to rescue his daughter Mo from the PADRE. But in the 8th season, Morgan and Madison along with others are brought to dwell under the rule of the PADRE and their fate remains undecided.
In the final season, we can see the usual cast members reprising their roles. The list includes Lennie James playing Morgan Jones, Kim Dickens playing Madison Clark, Colman Domingo playing Victor Strand, Danay Garcia playing Luciana Galvez, Austin Amelio playing Dwight, Christine Evangelista playing Sherry, Karen David playing Grace Mukherjee, Jenna Elfman playing June Dorie and Rubén Blades playing Daniel Salazar. Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson created the series. It will be available for streaming on AMC.
