It is an American animated web television series that premiered first on Netflix on November 2018 and has gained a big fan following since then.
'She-Ra and The Princesses Of Power' is an animated Netflix original series that premiered on November 2018. The series is based on the cartoon from the 80s of the same name and the Netflix reboot has definitely done an amazing job. The series tells the story of the teenager Adora's rebellion against the evil Hordak and his Horde. As the main protagonist of the series, Adora leads a group of other magical princesses in an alliance to defeat Hordak. The series has been well-received by the critics and it has also been praised for its diverse cast and the portrayal of She-Ra's relationship with her friend and rival Catra.
Even though there was a bit of controversy as the characters were dramatically re-designed for the Netflix series, after watching the series, a lot of people have fallen in love with the new aesthetic and colorful design. Noelle Stevenson serves as the executive producer of the series and he has previously worked on the comic Nimona and Lumberjanes.
The renewal of the series happened pretty swiftly and it almost immediately received a release date too. In 2018 it was pretty clear that the show would be renewed for more seasons when showrunner Noelle Stevenson announced that “we now have four arcs of 13 episodes done.” Out of the 52 planned episodes, only 17 episodes have aired till now, hence it gives the fans hope that there should be plenty more to come.
Season 3 has been slated to hit Netflix worldwide on August 2nd, 2019.

The second season of the show was pretty well-received, especially by the LGBTQ community as the show represented the community. The series had no problem in showing the viewers a same-sex relationship as the audience has already seen Bow’s two dads and the adorable couple of Netossa and Spinnerella. Going by all of this, the show has done a great job of highlighting love is love in all of its colorful glory.
My greatest accomplishment yesterday was getting my 7-year-old cousin hooked on She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, which she had never seen before. But was soon marathoning like no one's business. With Geena Davis joining the show, the cast of the series includes Aimee Carrero, Karen Fukuhara, AJ Michalka, Marcus Scribner, Reshma Shetty, Lorraine Toussaint, Keston John, Lauren Ash, and all of them are expected to make a comeback for the third season.
