Sophie Turner has warned fans of the beloved Game Of Thrones series that Sunday's finale will be upsetting for most.
The final season of Game Of Thrones has been riddled with a huge amount of upsets and fans have been very vocal about it. Some, even creating a petition for HBO to remake the whole season, which has gotten over a million signatures so far. Yeah, it's pretty hostile out there but can it get any worse? Well with just one episode left, it seems that the upsets are not over yet.
During an interview with the Sunday Times, 23-year-old Sophie Turner said that the final episode of Game Of Thrones will upset many fans but also that it will have a very "satisfying" outcome.
I’ve had a bit of an identity crisis to be honest, I’ve grown up for so many years as this character. It’s a great ending, from my perspective, it’s very satisfying. But I think a lot of people will be upset too.
Monday morning, after everyone has seen the episode, the internet is going to be flooded with fans sharing their opinions about the final episode. So, I would recommend that you be sure to watch it on Sunday or stay away from the internet till you've seen it.
I've personally enjoyed the eighth season for the most part, even though I can agree that Cersei's death was a bit underwhelming. In terms of Daenerys's violent fit of fiery rage over the people of King's Landing, I think it was sometime that had to happen. I mean, think about it. She literally stuck to her word. Don't you like people who stick to their word? Back in season 2, Daenerys said:
When my dragons are grown, we will take back what was stolen from me and destroy those who wronged me! We will lay waste to armies and burn cities to the ground!
And that's exactly what she did.
Sunday is going to be absolutely mental. I'm going to report on the events of the finale on Monday, trying my utmost best not to spoil it for everyone. But I really do recommend that you put aside time to watch it on Sunday or simply stay off the internet. The internet is not a kind place for people trying to avoid spoilers.
