The first film on our list is the 2020 horror-drama 'I'm Thinking of Ending Things.' The film's plot reads:
Full of misgivings, a young woman travels with her new boyfriend to his parents' secluded farm.
Charlie Kaufman directed the film, and it stars Jesse Plemons, Jessie Buckley, Toni Collette, and David Thewlis.
The second film on our list is the 2005 action-crime film 'Harsh Times.' The film's official synopsis reads:
Jim (Christian Bale) is a Gulf War veteran and he believes it is his sworn duty to protect Americans by policing the streets of Los Angeles.
