Every day we put together a list of three movies that we think you may enjoy. Here are our three for today.
Happy Monday, folks! As you may already know, every day, we put together a list of three movies that we think you'll enjoy, and today is no different. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.
The first film on our list is the 2017 horror flick 'Ravenous.' The plot reads:
A small, remote village in upstate Quebec is terrorised by a flesh-eating plague breaking down residents' bodies and turning them against their loved ones, while survivors flee for the woods.
Robin Aubert directed the film and it stars Marc-André Grondin, Monia Chokri, Brigitte Poupart, Luc Proulx, Charlotte St-Martin and Micheline Lanctôt.
The second film on our list is the 1971 action-thriller 'The French Connection.' The plot reads:
New York City cop Doyle and his partner are trying to bust a drug cartel based in France. Albeit short-tempered, Doyle is a dedicated cop whose nemesis, Alain Charnier, is too polished for a criminal.
William Friedkin directed the film, and it stars Gene Hackman, Fernando Rey, Roy Scheider, Tony Lo Bianco, and Marcel Bozzuffi.
The third film on our list is the 2017 romantic drama 'Newness.' The plot reads:
In Los Angeles, two millennials navigating a social media-driven hookup culture begin a relationship that pushes both emotional and physical boundaries.
Drake Doremus directed the film, and it stars Nicholas Hoult, Laia Costa, Courtney Eaton, Danny Huston, Jessica Henwick, and Esther Perel.
