The god of Mischief will soon be back. Here's every detail available on the internet regarding the upcoming season...
Loki's season 2 is getting closer and closer to its release on Disney Plus. The first season introduced us to variants of the beloved grey titular character. So what does the new Marvel iteration have in store for us? Will the god of mischief see triumph, or will he disappear into the multiverse as many have? Read on to know everything about the upcoming season of Loki.
So, first things first, let's take a moment to appreciate the fact that the show has been renewed, as the same had been confirmed in the end credits of the first season. However, as of now, there is no official release date for the show. Hiddleston, in an interview with Marvel.com, said: "I am so grateful that we got to do season one. I still am not quite able to process that we get to have another go at this. I am so excited by the possibilities. We are already in discussions. Deep, deep, deep discussions. I can't wait to get started."
Minor Spoiler Ahead...
At the end of the first season, we were introduced to the multiverse, which was deliberately set for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Loki still has to contend with Sylvie's betrayal. Also, Sylvie's actor Di Martino was spotted filming in a new look, so that tells us that there may be more variants. She was wearing what seemed to be a 1970s-inspired Mcdonald's uniform with a new haircut.
As usual, Marvel is keeping the cast list under wraps as a result, we don't have an official cast as of now. But of course, we know that some of them have been spotted filming. Tom Hiddleston is obviously back because what is Loki without Loki? Also, season 2 was shot in London, so that was pretty convenient for the actor, who is a UK resident. Season two is shooting in London, which is handy for the title star. "I think it was just an accident of scheduling, but I’m thrilled about it," Hiddleston said on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The actor also confirmed that the entire cast is back, and so we know that we are in more of Loki and Lady Loki adventures. Considering how season 1 ended, we are expecting to see the following cast members in Loki season two, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Tara Strong as the voice of Miss Minutes, Owen Wilson as Mobius M Mobius, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie.
