John Wick Chapter 4 is officially on its way and here's everything we know so far.
Keanu Reeves is returning as John Wick for the fourth time, as officially confirmed by Warner Bros. This is no surprise as John Wick - Parabellum made an impressive $326.7 million worldwide. The confirmation for the fourth film came quite soon after the release of John Wick 3 and here's everything we know so far about it.
John Wick Chapter 4 will officially be released on May 21st, 2021. This coincides with the release of the other highly anticipated Keanu Reeves film The Matrix 4.
The date of release for John Wick Chapter 4 will be almost exactly two years after the release of John Wick Chapter 3 so we will not have to wait very long to see Keanu Reeves kick ass on the big screen....twice!!!
The ending of John Wick Chapter 3 left a lot of room for a fourth film as it did not bring the story to a complete conclusion. In the end, Winston fought off the High Table and became the manager of the Continental once again after shooting John Wick off the roof of the hotel and into the streets of NYC. Wick did not die but was taken by the Clock King to the Bowery King who then asked Wick if he would like to get back at all that had wronged him. John Wick’s answer? He’s “pissed.” I’ll take that as a yes, then.
So the fourth film is poised to see John Wick take on the High Table which will be absolutely insane. A full-on bloody story of revenge was set up by the third film and we can expect a whole lot of action to come with it.
There is no official confirmation for who will be in the film but I can bet $14 million that Keanu Reeves will be in it. There's no John Wick without Keanu Reeves. The other cast members, however, are still up in the air but we can expect Ian McShane to return as Continental hotel manager Winston. Also, Winston's right-hand man Charon played by Lance Reddick has an important role in the film and has been in every single installment of the franchise so far.
Other cast members expected to return are Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King, Mark Dacascos' Clock King and villain Asia Kate Dillon who played the Adjudicator.
