It was revealed by Netflix that the fourth season of '13 Reasons Why' will be the final one. This caused a lot of speculation that led people to believe that the show was canceled. In order to erase that confusion, Netflix released a statement saying that it was an entirely creative decision to end the series and added saying the fourth season 'will feature the core cast’s graduation from High School which will be a natural conclusion to the show.'
All that is known for certain is that the narrative will follow the main characters who are all set to graduate high school. Last year, in an interview about the third season with Radio Times, Timothy Granaderos, who plays bully Montgomery De La Cruz, said, "I don't think you'll be asking if any scenes will need to be removed from season three." Additionally, it was also announced by Netflix that the fourth season is going to be the last one, but before the show wraps up, a lot of questions need to be answered. One of the primary questions that is looming over everyone's mind is if the fans will get to see Bryce Walker for the last time or not. But, the actor of the character, in a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter said, "I feel like we've kind of hit and explored all the different facets of Bryce. Moving on with my career, I feel like we put it all out there and we didn't leave anything behind, which is." Apart from that, there is also the storyline of Tony's deported family. Regarding that, actor Christian Navarro, told Cosmopolitan, "I hope that Tony's able to fully embrace his new role as someone who can not only help others but also ask for help and be okay receiving help."
No spoilers for the fourth season is available as of now since Netflix is keeping tight-lipped about anything related to the fourth season.
