Emma Stone's 'Cruella': Everything We Know So Far

The movie will be directed by Craig Gillespie and will be the origin story of the villain, Cruella De Vil.

Disney dropped the trailer of Cruella this week and it'll be the backstory to one of its iconic villains of all time —  Cruella de Vil. The trailer has been generating a lot of buzz. Emma Stone will play the titular role and the trailer looks gorgeous. The movie has been scheduled for release in May 2021 but it remains to be seen if it'll be released in theatres or will hit the streaming service — Disney+ — directly. We might have to wait a few more months for the movie's premiere but here's what we know so far about the movie.
