Chris Hemsworth is up for as many Thor movies that Marvel will let him play and we are really excited about this.
With Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo all supposedly leaving the MCU, one has to wonder the fate of Thor star Chris Hemsworth.
So I'm not going to put any spoilers in this post but what I will say is that Thor became a very different man by the end of Avengers: Endgame. Will Chris Hemsworth be hitting the MCU door or will he continue his journey forward with this new Thor? Well, during an interview on This Morning he said:
I’d play this character for as long as anyone would let me,” Hemsworth said. “I’ve loved it so much. But the combination of this many characters in this Phase Three, as Marvel calls it, you’ll never have this interaction with this many people again. Who knows what the future holds and whether they do prequels and sequels or whatever, I’d be open to anything. But right now, this is where we finish up.
So it seems like Chris Hemsworth is up for a whole lot more Thor movies. And, there is even word that Thor 4 is already being discussed by Marvel execs. Tessa Thompson, who plays Valkyrie in the MCU recently told the LA Times that she’s “heard that a pitch has happened” for a fourth Thor movie and that Marvel Studios want to bring back Ragnarok director Taika Waititi.
As of now, we have no confirmation of anything but wouldn't it be awesome to see another Thor movie?
