The real-life Crazy Rich Asians are coming back!
One thing that made Netflix's 'Bling Empire' so irresistible is the fact that the personal lives of the real-life 'Crazy Rich Asians' are even crazier than the movie.
The reality series chronicles the daily lives of the elite circle of Asian-American socialites in Los Angeles. The trivial rivalries, the ridiculous problems, and the crazy amount of fortune these people spend lavishly every day make a perfect recipe for reality TV.
The series dropped eight episodes early this year, and if you think it was not enough, then you're in for a treat!
'Bling Empire' season 2 is officially happening!
Here is everything we know.
It's confirmed! 'Bling Empire' is coming back for another season. Netflix renewed the series on March 10, 2021, along with the luxurious real estate reality series 'Selling Sunset.
"Selling Sunset and Bling Empire have both been renewed for new seasons! Anyone else thinks they should do a crossover where Anna goes to one of Chrishell’s open houses?" Netflix announced.

The hit reality series premiered on Netflix on January 15, 2021, and quite frankly, we were very confident that season 2 was going to happen. There is so much interest in the lives of these insanely rich cast members. After binge-watching the series, most fans flocked over to the cast member's social media accounts just to get more updates on their daily lives.
Now, this is the tricky part. Covid-19 has certainly changed the world, which means that the lavish parties and casual hangouts that were vital components of the first season are no longer possible. Hence, season 2 might not drop so soon.
We are expecting season 2 to still follow the glamorous and intense lives of the insanely rich Asian and Asian-American LA socialites.
Albeit, the set-up will likely be so much different with the Covid-19 pandemic in the picture.
Don't worry because we are pretty sure that not even Covid can dampen the party spirits of these people. Especially not Christine Chiu.
"I always find a way to celebrate. I think that's a very important part of life and keeping a positive outlook," she told Oprah mag after throwing out Covid-safe parties during the quarantine. Chiu celebrated her birthday by sending baking kits to friends. She invited a professional chef to teach them how to bake virtually.
As to what fans should expect in season 2, Chiu teased: "If you thought I dropped a big bomb in season 1, then you have no idea."
Chiu did not reveal what exactly is going to happen, but she says that it will be "timely in our climate" and will "touch many people."
We can't wait to see what will happen with her epic rivalry with fan-favorite Anna Shay in season 2.
Anna effortlessly stole the spotlight in season 1 with her generosity and genuine attitude. She's very sweet, very kind and very rich!
She is a wise woman who also likes to spoil the people she loved with diamonds, shopping sprees, and all the most luxurious things. But what people loved about her the most is how she refuses to take bullshit from other people. Seeing her outsmart Christine in numerous instances is our little guilty pleasure.
We are expecting to love Anna even more in season 2 after she says she will continue to be just herself.
"If there is going to be a second season, I would still end up being me because I don't know what else to do. Besides, it's reality. You have to keep it real."
Netflix has not announced an official casting list yet, but we are likely to see the season 1 cast members return.
The season 1 cast members include:
Kevin Taejin Kreider (a Male model born in South Korea but was adopted and raised in Philadelphia), Kane Lim (real estate developer and investor), Christine Alexandra Chiu (philanthropist, couture collector, and co-founder of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery inc), Gabriel Chiu (plastic surgeon and husband of Christine Chiu), Kelly Mi Li (Self-made entrepreneur and film producer), Anna Shay (Part-Japanese, part-Russian socialite), Cherie Chan (Denim heiress and former singer), Jessey Lee (Cherie's partner), Kim Lee (sultry DJ and former model), Andrew Gray (Kelly's ex-boyfriend), Jaime Xie (Fashion blogger and daughter of Ken Xie), and Guy Tang (Hairdresser and singer-songwriter).
The show has just been renewed, so we will have to wait for a while before we get to see the upcoming season's official trailer.
So to keep you from getting bored, here is the season 1 trailer in the meantime.
We will update this article once we get the new trailer. Haven't seen 'Bling Empire' yet? Watch season 1 complete episode on Netflix now!
