Every day we put together a list of three movies that we think you may enjoy. Here are our three for today.
Happy Thursday, folks! Today, like every day, we have put together a list of three movies that we think you'll enjoy. The selections are based on reviews, personal viewing, and relevance. Some, you may have seen already, and some may not be your cup of tea, but we hope that at least one of these catches your eye. Let's get right into it.
The first film on our list is the Elijah Wood Slasher film 'Maniac'. It follows the withdrawn owner of a mannequin shop who is a serial killer with a fetish for scalps as he helps an unknowing young artist with her upcoming exhibition. Franck Khalfoun directed the film, and it stars Elijah Wood and Nora Arnezeder.
In light of the BLM protests, which are still ongoing (even though not as heavily right now), 'If Beale Street Could Talk' is just what the world needs to see. The film follows a young woman trying to clear the name of her wrongly charged lover and prove that he is innocent before the birth of their child. Barry Jenkins directed the film, and it stars an ensemble cast that includes KiKi Layne, Stephan James, Colman Domingo, Teyonah Parris, Michael Beach, Dave Franco, Diego Luna, Pedro Pascal, Ed Skrein, Brian Tyree Henry, and Regina King.
The last film on our list is among my favorite movies starring Daniel Radcliffe. You know, besides the Harry Potter series! This film is a love story that follows a pair of best friends who begin to develop feelings for each other. Michael Dowse directed the film, and it stars Daniel Radcliffe, Zoe Kazan, Megan Park, Adam Driver, Mackenzie Davis, and Rafe Spall.
