'Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous' Season 3 Renewal And Release Date

Renewal Status: Renewed

'Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous' is coming back for season 3!

The renewal announcement came just a few days ago (March 12, 2021). What's even more awesome is that we don't have to wait for another year just to see the upcoming season. Season 3 will release on Netflix on May 21st, 2021.

The official announcement reads:

"Incubation period for all-new episodes of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous = approx. 10 weeks. Be there when the new season crashes onto @Netflix May 21!"

Before the renewal announcement, the showrunners spoke to Comicbook, revealing they have so many stories left to tell.

“We have a lot more story to tell with these characters, and we’ve set up things going back to Season 1 that we definitely want to pay off. So here’s hoping, because when we started, we knew [that] the opening sequence of Fallen Kingdom, where they go in to get the Indominus tube and all that, that takes place six months after Jurassic World falls. We’ve got plenty of time to tell stories before then and then still keeping with the canon of the Jurassic universe.”

What Will Happen In 'Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous' Season 3?

'Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous' follows the adventures of six teenagers who are stranded on Isla Nublar after multiple dinosaurs escape their habitats.

The previous season left us with a cliffhanger, signaling a possible threat for season 3.

The group managed to save the dinosaurs after they stopped Mitch and Tiff from their evil plans.

However, a creature previously in cryostasis escaped from a room numbered "E750". E750 is the classification given to a mysterious experiment in the cryogenics facility deep within the tunnels beneath the park.

What could that creature be? Some theories say it's a Siberian mammoth or a hybrid dinosaur. While others say, it's a Spinoraptor or some other kind of deadly dinosaur.

We have a few weeks left to find out.
