Stealing hearts since 2007, here are some juicy deets about his life!
Lucien Laviscount is a British actor who has spent most of his career as a recording artist. Most people know him from Waterloo Road. The British actor was first seen back in 2007 when he bagged a recurring role in the British soap series Grange Hill. Recently the Hit Netflix show Emily in Paris welcomed him as the new love interest for the titular character. Let's get you acquainted with Lucien Laviscount.
Afro-Antiguan refers to the inhabitants of Antigua who are descended from African slaves who were brought over to work on the sugarcane, tobacco, and other crop plantations. Even though the Afro-Antiguan population was emancipated in 1834, in effect, their prospects remained very poor until the mid-20th century, which was when the colonial social structure on the island was finally demolished. These facts are a gentle reminder that humans have come a long way but still have a long way to go.
Before he landed his first job in the world of showbiz, Laviscount got his start in advertising. At the age of 10, he managed to get a spot in an advertising campaign for Marks and Spencers, a British retailer that specializes in clothing and home product and also certain luxury food.
Thirstbuckets celebrate! He is currently single. However, Lucien has always been extremely private when it comes to his personal life, so it's possible that even if he is seeing anyone, the world will never know.
He once said that growing up for him was like "living in a gym."
"It was just one of those things were growing up in the gym, that's the last place you wanted to be because we'd finish school and go back to the gym," Laviscount shared with Fox 11 Los Angeles
Lucien was in the Fox Comedy horror that ran for two seasons. The show follows the story of a fictional university where a sorority has come under attack by a serial killer.
During an interview with Harry Connick Jr., he said that while he was out shopping with his mother, he had gotten a compliment from a woman, and another woman who overheard their conversation offered her a job. He said, "This woman overheard, and she was like, ‘Look, listen, your son, he’s got, heart. I’m casting for this new kids’ range, clothing range. He would be great, you should bring him for an audition please. And I got the job. And it was with David Beckham, he brought out his clothing range."
He played parts in several TV shows before he got his big break in Emily in Paris. He played Alexander Cabot in Katy Keene and Earl Grey in Screams Queens. He was also on the UK's Celebrity Big Brother back in 2011.
Lucien says that as soon as he sent his audition tape, he got a phone call saying he was going to meet creator Darren Star and actor Lily Collins.
