Woman Reveals She’s Been Using Dating Apps To Stay At Different Men’s Homes After Becoming ‘Homeless’

She hasn't been paying rent anymore!

Emily Webb

An Australian lady, 25, has revealed a method she employs to find housing after losing her job.

Emily Webb is now trying to find a rented place in Australia's Gold Coast, therefore she is living out of her car.

The 25-year-old is now sleeping on friends' couches, but she has other options for finding a place to sleep so she won't be a "burden."

Many Australians are finding it more and more difficult to locate a place to live due to the country's continuous housing crisis.

Despite her willingness to pay up to a year's rent in advance, Emily disclosed that she has had difficulty finding housing.

She has more than 150,000 Instagram followers in addition to earning a substantial amount from her OnlyFans account.

This indicates that she is still having financial difficulties despite having a weekly rent budget of about AU $1,000 (about US $660).

However, Emily claimed she is not very concerned about her circumstances because she has a different tactic she employs to help her get housing while she searches for an apartment.

To do this, she would search for men on the dating app Hinge whose apartments she may crash at for a few days before going on to the next.

In a video on TikTok she said: “I can’t believe I’ve been wasting my money on rent all this time. Life hack: If you’re hot, don’t ever pay rent."

She told news.com.au: “I’ve been on dating apps finding different guys’ places to stay with, and it is going surprisingly well. I don’t usually tell them. I don’t want to put pressure on anyone."

She added: “I don’t mention that I’m homeless and I don’t think I look homeless.”

While she doesn't want to become a burden to her friends, she that she doesn't mind 'being a burden to random men.'

In the meantime, she shared that she is saving money while not paying AU $1,000 a week in rent, saying: “It is good not paying rent. The places I’m looking at are around $1,000 a week, and I’m saving so much."

The 25-year-old revealed that, despite her challenging circumstances, she feels at ease taking use of her "pretty privilege."

She said: “I love pushing the boundaries of pretty privilege and seeing how far I can take it. You’re only single and hot once and I love taking advantage of it anywhere it can.”

In her TikTok video, she did, however, add, "They do only last a few nights and then they break up with me because they realize I'm using them."

She said this allows her'space to be picky', even if she is still applying for a more permanent home to reside.

She added: "I feel like any day I could have a rental. I’m not extremely stressed."
