'The White Lotus' Season 2 Confirms Four New Cast Members: F. Murray Abraham, Tom Hollander, Adam DiMarco, Haley Lu Richardson

The show had previously announced that Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) and Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) would be joining the line-up for the second season.

The White Lotus is a satirical, dark comedy-drama show from HBO. The first season was a hit among viewers and critics alike. The show followed the exploits of various employees and guests at an exclusive Hawaiian resort over the span of one highly transformative week.

The first season had six episodes focused on events of each passing day, and in the end, gradually reveals the complex truths of the seemingly picture-perfect travelers, cheerful hotel employees, and the idyllic locale itself.​ The cast of the show included a prolific ensemble of actors like Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Lacy, Natasha Rothwell, and Steve Zahn. It premiered on July 11, 2021.

The show was renewed for a second season. It is set to be an anthology series that will tell the story of a different group of travelers during their stay at another White Lotus property.

Who Are The New Cast Members Announced For The White Lotus Season 2?

The show had previously announced that Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) and Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) would be joining the line-up for the second season. Variety has reported that F. Murray Abraham (Homeland), Tom Hollander (The Night Manager), Adam DiMarco (The Order), and Haley Lu Richardson (The Edge of Seventeen) will also be joining the second season of the critically-acclaimed show. It is speculated that Jennifer Coolidge from the first season will be returning for the second season. But it is yet to be confirmed. 



 

There will be many other changes as well. The first season took place in Hawaii but the next season will be taking place at another location. The Hollywood Reporter stated that there are chances that the second season will take place in Italy. Abraham will appear as Bert Di Grasso, an elderly man traveling with his son (Imperioli) and grandson (DiMarco). DiMarco will play the part of Albie Di Grasso, a recent college graduate. Hollander will play Quentin, an English expat vacationing with his friends and his nephew. Richardson will portray the role of Portia, a young woman traveling with her boss. All four are series regulars. Plaza will be playing Harper Spiller, a woman on vacation with her husband and friends. 



 

The show was created, written, and directed by Mike White who also served as an executive producer along with David Bernad, Nick Hall, and was co-executive produced by Mark Kamine.
