Though we're still in the dark about the exact release date and some of the additional cast and staff details, it's exciting to know that more of Rentaro Aijo's journey to find his soulmates is on the way. Remember, the first season wrapped up on the same day as the announcement, ending its 12-episode run.
The newly released 31-second promotional video provides a glimpse into what to expect from Season 2. It revisits some of the memorable moments from Season 1 and teases new adventures. Additionally, we get a glimpse of an illustration by character designer Akane Yano, which portrays Rentaro and his soulmates in a vibrant and celebratory manner, with each character radiating their unique charm.
We anticipate that the original cast and crew from Season 1 will return. Hikaru Sato will direct at Bibury Animation Studios, with Takashi Aoshima on the scripts and Akane Yano bringing her character design expertise. And, of course, the amazing voice cast including Wataru Kato, Kaede Hondo, Miyu Tomita, and others who brought these characters to life will also be returning.
