A brand new French comedy on Netflix called Off The Hook (original title: Détox) debuted on September 1, 2022, and the show has managed to succeed with a clever screenplay and stellar performances by the leads. Off The Hook dabbled with the concept of social media and digital detoxing which is a big issue in today’s world. Despite the protagonists having sketchy motivations behind trying out digital detoxing, the viewers of the show are interested to see where the plot is heading next and will these imperfect characters grow into something admirable. But for that we will be needing another season of this show and here is everything you need to know about a potential Off The Hook Season 2.

The story follows Lea and Manon who chose to quit their digital life for a month. The reason behind their tough decision is pretty complicated. Lea has been caught stalking her ex-boyfriend and Manon, who is a rapper, is getting trashed on the internet after a disastrous concert. The duo gets drunk and blames their phone and social media addiction as the root of all their misfortunes after which they decide to forgo their phones for a whole month. But their decision will result in some consequences for certain and in case a season 2 happens, we hope to see Lea and Manon get their lives sorted, grow as better humans, and find happiness.
The cast list consists of Tiphaine Daviot as Lea and Manon Azem as Manon in the lead. Other secondary characters include Osama Kheddam as Gagan, Charlotte De Turckheim as Mireille, and Laurent Boat as Bernard. This show is directed by Marie Jardillier and is distributed by Netflix.
