Anime fever is getting higher every day, and series like 'Noragami' are keeping anime fans wholly engrossed all the time. 'Noragami,' which is known as Stray God, is an anime based on the Japanese manga of the same name by Adachitoka. Fans have already fallen in love with the two seasons of 'Noragami,' and they want to know when they can see the third season happening. The first season came out on January 5, 2014, and there was a total number of 12 episodes, and the second season called Noragami Aragoto, aired in Japan from October 2, 2015, to December 25, 2015. However, the second season consisted of 13 episodes. Let's find out everything we know about the third season.

There is a blog, which I will not mention, that says that Noragami has been renewed for a third season. This is not official news and is only based on speculation. As of right now, the show has yet to be officially renewed, but we will keep you up to date as new information comes our way. Looking at the fact that season two was released on October 9, 2015, and since it has been a long time since fans have been waiting for the third installment to know what happens next in the series, we can assume that it's coming soon. Season two didn't have a concrete ending, leading to many speculations that the third season would have a new storyline with great adventures. Also, the fact that Noragami Vol. 25 was released on June 16th, 2022, fans are hopeful that they will hear about season 3 sometime soon. One of the biggest issues that faced the creation of season 3 was the lack of content. However, that is no longer a problem, as 25 volumes are now out. There is enough new content for at least 2-3 more seasons. Now it's only a matter of when not if. For those who want to watch all the episodes of Noragami English Dubbed, it is on Funimation and Crunchyroll. Viewers can also watch subbed and dubbed episodes on Hulu.
Before going into what happens in the third season, let's explore what happened in the previous seasons. Hiyori Iki is a schoolgirl whose life takes a turn when she meets with an accident while saving a stranger. In that accident, she loses her soul from her body and becomes Ayakashi, which means that she is aware of two parallel worlds. This becomes her unique ability in, which she uses to travel to both sides of the world frequently, such as the afterlife (far Shore), where human souls and demons loiter around, and the human world (Near Shore), where animals, normal humans, and other creatures live.
While traveling from one part of the world to another, Hiyori Iki becomes friends with a Yato, a nameless god. Since he does not have his own holy place, he takes a fee of five yen for accepting mortals' wishes. He collects money so that he can build his own temple where humans could worship him. As a wish, Hiyori requests him to fix her body as she does not like her soul leaving her body from time to time. She wants to live a normal life again. However, Yato had something else in his mind. Hiyori meets Yukine, who is Yato's Regalia. Soon three of them become good friends, and they venture on different adventures together.
In the third season, fans will see Yato's true identity and a dark past revealed. Also, the guy who kisses Hiyoru is none other than Yato's father. Therefore, it is pretty evident that the third season will showcase the relationship between Yato and his father. Bishamon forgives him for killing his first family, and Yato wants to become a god with millions of worshippers. He soon starts gathering allies. However, Nora is coming after him to seek revenge. Nora was her previous Regalia.
Meanwhile, Yato is not aware of the horrific side of Nora. Therefore, he has a new enemy. Ebisu, the God of Fortune, used the Phantoms for the amelioration of the world and is declared as a felon. All the gods are not happy with his doings and plan to kill him. Yukine helps Yato to become the god of fortunes.
The third installment will have Rabou, Daikoku, Kuraha, Nora, Kazuma, Hiyori Iki, Yukine, Kofuku, Bishamonten, and Yato all return.
