America's sweetheart and national treasure, Betty White is reaching another milestone in her life. The comedy legend is about to turn 100 years old on January 17. What's more, White is calling fans to celebrate the big day with her! A special movie event called Betty White: 100 Years Young -- A Birthday Celebration is being organized for the legend. "Who doesn't love a party?!? This one is gonna be GREAT!" White said in a statement.

A whole host of celebrities will be involved including Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Jay Leno, Carol Burnett, Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel, Valerie Bertinelli, James Corden, Wendy Malick, and Jennifer Love Hewitt, according to CNN. The movie will feature a peek into White's day-to-day life along with behind-the-scenes of sets, working with her office staff, entertaining at home, as well as lending her voice as an animal advocate. It will also take viewers to her actual birthday party! The film will feature clips of her playing some of her most memorable roles such as Rose on Golden Girls, her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, her Super Bowl/Snickers commercial, and her role as Sue Ann on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. White also has other important titles to her credit, including being the first woman to produce a national TV show, and the first woman to receive an Emmy nomination: these feats will be honored in the movie as well.

White celebrated her 99th birthday while in quarantine earlier this year. She told ET at the time, "You probably didn't ask, but I'll tell you anyway. What am I doing for my birthday? Running a mile each morning has been curtailed by COVID, so I am working on getting The Pet Set re-released, and feeding the two ducks who come to visit me every day." The Pet Set was a TV series White created way back in the 1970s, and involved celebrities and their pets with animal-related discussions. The series was released on DVD in February of this year.

Now, fans will have the chance to celebrate the big day with her! Many are calling for her to be given extra protection, perhaps even some help from the federal government ahead of her birthday. A couple of months ago, Twitter user @HeyokaEmpath01 wrote: Betty White is 99 years old and 3 months away from 100; please provide her with national security protection and wrap her safely in bubble wrap; we love her. Tons of other fans chimed in to share their love for the beloved queen of comedy. We can't wait to celebrate with the legend!
