This is a live-update article and it will be updated as new details about Mr. Mercedes Season 4 come our way. This is what we know so far.

Mr. Mercedes Season 4

Mr. Mercedes is an American crime drama TV series based on three novels by Stephen King named 'Mr. Mercedes,' 'Finders Keepers,' and 'End of Watch.' The series first launched on August 9, 2017, on the Audience Network. The series focuses on Retired detective Bill Hodges, who gets haunted by an unsolved case of Mr. Mercedes, a person driving a Mercedes car responsible for taking sixteen lives. Meanwhile, Mr. Mercedes started focusing his attention on Hodges, too.

David E. Kelley developed the series. It first hit the screen on August 9, 2017, and gained so much traction from the viewers. Given the popularity of the series, the Audience Network renewed the series for the next season which premiered on August 22, 2018, followed by season 3 airing from September 10, 2019, to November 12, 2019. Each season consists of 8 episodes. Now, the fans are looking forward to the fourth season of the series. It's been about four years since the show concluded its third season. Will the series return for more? Here's what we know about 'Mr. Mercedes' Season 4, so far.

When Will 'Mr. Mercedes' Season 4 Release?

The 10-episode Season 3 of the series concluded on November 12, 2019, on the Audience Network. For months, fans waited for the renewal of the show for the fourth season.

Sadly, they received the opposite. 'Mr. Mercedes' was discontinued after AT&T canceled the Audience Network in May 2020. The channel now becomes a preview channel for the shows of HBO Max. Due to Audience Network's termination, the future ‘Mr. Mercedes' and other Audience Network originals were left in the dark.

However, Peacock picked up all previous three seasons of 'Mr. Mercedes' for streaming. So, if season 4 will ever happen, it will likely release on the Peacock.

What Is The Plot Of ‘Mr. Mercedes'?

The story spins around on the psychopath guy, Hartsfield. A few years back, he stole a Mercedes and accidentally killed 16 people at the local job fair. Bill Hodges was the investigator in the incident. Unable to solve this Mercedes case, the killings of the people prey on Bill’s mind. Hartsfield provoked Bill to catch him. As the two engage in a deadly game of 'Hide and Seek', the two find themselves in a dangerous contest with real-life consequences. Hartsfield gets determined to leave his mark on society. He is shown to be able to whack people’s minds.

In short, we can say that the series is about an evil man who sees people as chess pieces and plays mind games trying to get Bill to kill himself.
