MobLand Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

MOBLAND HAS BECOME one of the most popular new shows on Paramount+ in just a few months, attracting a loyal fanbase since its first season started on March 30. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re missing a thrilling crime show.

The series features Tom Hardy as Harry Da Souza, a problem solver for a British crime family. Pierce Brosnan plays the father Conrad Harrigan, and Helen Mirren plays Maeve Harrigan. Completing the Harrigan family is Conrad and Maeve’s son, Kevin, portrayed by Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon).

If the impressive cast wasn’t enough to grab your attention, MobLand has had episodes directed by Guy Ritchie (Wrath of Man, The Gentlemen) and written by Jez Butterworth (Ford v. Ferrari, The Ferryman).

But with the first season now wrapped, can we expect more? Here’s everything we know.

Has MobLand Been Renewed For Season 2?

Though there hasn’t been an official renewal yet, Hardy is optimistic that MobLand will keep going for a few more seasons.

“The plan is definitely to see more seasons,” Hardy told The Hollywood Reporter in April. “The question is: Does it become international? There are international elements to organised crime, which are touched on in season one and the control of drugs and ammunition and weapons and people and all kinds of things that go through Europe and from Africa through to South America, Pakistan and the variable commodities that move around Europe.”

“There are families that are involved in each European country that are vying for power to have that status to be able to move these kind of commodities through and who polices that and how that fits into a world stage,” he added.

Who Will Be In The Cast Of MobLand Season 2?

Viewers can look forward to seeing all the main cast members come back. Hardy appears to be optimistic about continuing his role as Harry.

David Glasser, the producer of MobLand, shared some thoughts about a second season in an interview with Deadline in March. “Yes, there will be,” he said. “Same team, same everybody. Everybody’s coming back. One big family.”

When Will MobLand Season 2 Be Released?

There is no official release date for MobLand season 2 because it has not been renewed yet. Season one started filming in November 2024 and finished in March 2025, with some other cast members joining to shoot in London during that period. According to MovieWeb, the season was finished only four days before it began airing on Parmount+.

Season 2 will probably follow a similar schedule, but hopefully with fewer production issues. Fans are hoping they won’t have to wait too long to see more episodes of the interesting mob drama.
