Millie Bobby Brown has left fans scratching their heads after revealing an unexpected quirk: she doesn't watch movies. While one might assume that Hollywood stars would have a keen interest in cinema, the 20-year-old Brit, known for her roles in various productions including Netflix's latest offering, "Damsel," surprised many with her revelation.

In an interview with The Sun, Brown confessed, "I don’t watch movies. People come up to me and say, ‘You should definitely watch this movie, it would change your life.’ And I’m like, ‘How long do I have to sit there for?’ Because my brain and I don’t even like sitting for my own movies." This revelation left fans puzzled, especially given her prominent presence in the film industry.

The actress further elaborated on her aversion to movie-watching, attributing it in part to her difficulty in remaining stationary for extended periods. She explained, "I just have to be doing something. So I either eat too much because I’m just bored. Or I have to be doing something — baking, grooming a dog, or on my computer. If I’m not doing something I just can’t sit there and look at the screen for that long." Despite her personal stance, Brown acknowledged the cinematic brilliance and the talents of her peers in the industry.

Brown's fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, is revealed to be quite the opposite, a fervent movie enthusiast who indulges in films for extended durations.

Fans took to social media to express their bewilderment at Brown's revelation. Some expressed disbelief, with one user noting, "Never heard of an actress that doesn’t really watch movies." Others raised valid points about the importance of movie-watching for actors, highlighting its role in supporting peers and refining one's craft.

Despite Brown's personal preference, her recent film "Damsel" has enjoyed remarkable success on Netflix, claiming the top spot since its release on March 8. Portraying the character of Elodie, a princess thrust into unexpected circumstances, Brown's performance has garnered acclaim. In an interview with Netflix's Tudum, she emphasized the character's agency, noting, "She’s a damsel who doesn’t need to be saved. She saves herself in many ways."
