Who Was Cast In Maid?
Margaret Qualley was cast as Alex, who even got her nominated for Best Actress at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards and the Golden Globe Awards as well. Nick Robinson played Sean, Alex’s abusive boyfriend, and Maddy’s father. Rylea Nevaeh Whittet played Maddy. Andie MacDowell played the role of Alex’s eccentric mother Paula. MacDowell is Qualley’s mother in real-life as well and this was their first project together. “I was up in Canada quarantining and the role of my mom was still open, and it dawned on me that I’ve always wanted to work with my mom,” Qualley had stated. “And then, I was like, ‘Whoa, this is it.
