The story picks up 50 years after "the problem" that changed the world. The world is now infested with ghosts, who come alive during the night. All they need to do is touch people in order to kill them, and you can see why half of the population is extinct when the show opens. Now, there are some children in this world who seem to have greater power and are determined to kill these ghosts. In the center of it all is Lucy, who is an amazing listener and trains herself to become a sharp hunter. However, one of her hunting ventures goes wrong, with almost all of her mates ending up dead. We see a distraught Lucy escape her manipulative mother and go to London, where she completes her training and gets a job as a hunter. After quite some struggle, she lands up in Lockwood and Co, which is run by Anthony Lockwood. We meet George, the only employee at the moment in the company who Lucy joins.

Adapted from the YA novel by Jonathan Stroud of the same name, Lockwood and Co is a great show that is extremely fun yet spooky at the same time. The writing is pretty solid, and so is the direction. Book fans are extremely happy and have given the show a 5-star rating making it gain quick popularity.

Lockwood and Co Ending Explained: What Is In That Room?

Rotten Tomatoes
Rotten Tomatoes

When Lucy is first hired, Lockwood shows her around the house, which he reveals that he had inherited from his parents. Lockwood gave a detailed tour but deliberately left one room. The room on the first story needs to be kept locked all the time. George and Lucy are strictly barred from the room, and Lockwood makes it pretty clear that he doesn't want to talk about it. Lucy and George are extremely intrigued to find out the contents of the room and why Lockwood maintains this intense secrecy. The first season does not reveal the content of the secret room, but the book readers can guess the deal. In the book, the room actually belonged to Lockwood's sister Jessica who was killed by a ghost. The fans are eager for renewal, and we will be updating you if Netflix decides to renew the show.

What's The Deal With The Skull in The Jar?

The skull in the jar was first introduced to the audience in the first episode; however, at that time, nothing much was revealed about the rare one, the relic. Lucy later finds out that a ghost has been trapped inside the jar. She allows the ghost to come out, and the ghost speaks to her. Lucy realizes that she has the power to understand ghosts. However, we soon realize that the ghost cannot be trusted, and thankfully Lucy understands its motives. However, the grey character will have a lot to do in season 2.
