Justin and Hailey Bieber Pregnant

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin, who first married in September 2018 following a two-month engagement, are expecting their first child together.

The Rhode founder and model, 27, and her musician husband, 30, are expecting their first child together and announced the joyful news on Instagram. Hailey's agent confirms to PEOPLE that the model is just over six months pregnant.

Hailey posted a video from their vow renewal in which she wears a long, lacy white dress and a veil, emphasizing her expanding bump. She also provided a few images of herself and Justin standing in a field. Justin stands behind her, wrapping his arms over her belly and displaying their matching wedding bands.

The pregnant model kept her caption brief, only tagging her spouse.

The pair married in September 2018 at a New York City courthouse, only two months after being engaged. They later held a larger ceremony in front of family and friends, exchanging vows and Tiffany wedding bands as the sun fell over Bluffton, South Carolina.

Hailey appeared on the cover of GQ Hype in October, where she addressed rumors about her pregnancy and discussed how they affected her. "Recently, everybody was like, 'Oh my God, she's pregnant,' and that's happened to me multiple times before," she told the news organization.

"There is something that's disheartening about, damn, I can't be bloated one time and not be pregnant? It would be a lie if I was like, 'Oh yeah, I don't give a s---.'"

"When there comes a day that that is true, you, you as in the internet, will be the last to know," she said with candor.

Although she has previously discussed raising her kids out of the spotlight, the model said at the time that she know feels that it's "probably totally unavoidable. That was before I was married. Didn't know who I was going to be married to at the time, I'm sure."

Despite her reservations, the model remarked that parenting "is something that I look forward to."

"It's also such a private, intimate thing. It's something that's going to come when it comes."

"And it's just, honestly, at the end of the day, so hilarious how much people f---ing care. Let me do what I want with my body and you guys can do what you want to do with your body — and let's just let it be that," she said.

Justin has long expressed his desire to conceive a family with Hailey, but in a December 2020 visit on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, he stated that he was respecting his wife's timeframe.

"I am going to have as many [babies] as Hailey is wishing to push out. I'd love to have myself a little tribe," the "Baby" singer said at the time. "But, yeah, it's her body and whatever she wants to do. ... I think she wants to have a few."

When DeGeneres inquired why the pair was waiting, Justin responded, "There's not really an issue."

"But I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman, and I think ... she's just not ready yet. And that's okay," he said.
