The producer of 'Annabelle Comes Home' James Wan has recently released an image on his Instagram page. The picture teases the sinister doll's latest adventure in Ed and Lorraine Warren's house.
Horror fans are super excited as the new Annabelle film is going to be out soon and it will be the third film from the franchise. The studio has recently announced the title of the film which is 'Annabelle Comes Home'.
Now the producer of the film James Wan has recently released an image on his Instagram page. The picture teases the sinister dolls latest adventure in the house of demonologists and paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, as reported by Comic Book.
The upcoming Annabelle film will take place in the demonologist couple's home as the doll targets their daughter this time. The couple has to face the evil of the doll again in order to save their daughter from becoming prey. The doll was previously placed in Warren’s occult museum in the first Conjuring! And now fans believe Annabelle Comes Home brings everything full circle.
In the picture, the doll can be seen sitting comfortably in a locked up glass box amongst other paranormal objects collected by the couple from their adventures.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will be back reprising their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren for the film. The two have been the main part of all the films in the Conjuring universe. Directed by Gary Dauberman, 'Annabelle Comes Home' is also a part of the same universe.
In an interview with Bloody Disgusting, Wan gave some new details about the film."It finally comes to the Warrens' home so by the very nature of it actually being in the home and the story takes place in the Warrens' home, it feels more like a Conjuring film in that respect."
Wan explained, "I think by the very nature of Patrick [Wilson] and Vera [Farmiga] being in it, I would say somewhat, yes, because in Annabelle 3 the doll comes back to the Warrens' home."
The official synopsis of the film by Warner Bros. reads, "Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends." The film is set to release on June 28th.
