Just last month, the two had denied rumors about the possibility of them being a couple after they were spotted holding hands on a rollercoaster at Knott's Scary Farm in Buena Park, California, with their friends on Halloween. Before this, the 41-year-old reality show star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians was on Saturday Night Live where she shared an on-screen kiss with Davidson. An insider had told PEOPLE, "They hang in the same circles so they will be together from time to time. It's just friends hanging out." A lot seems to have changed over the past few weeks.
But now, E! News was able to confirm that Kardashian and the 28-year-old comedian are taking their friendship to the next level. An insider has stated that they are now officially dating and "are really happy and seeing where it goes." They went on to say, "Pete has told her he doesn't want to see anyone else," noting Kim apparently feels the same. "She is telling some people they aren't super serious but she isn't seeing anyone else... She's trying to not make a big deal about it but is super into him." The insider also added that the mother of four is "smitten over him" and it is an exciting time for her.
"He makes her laugh the entire time they are together and she is completely enthralled by him," the insider went on to say, adding that the SKIMS founder feels "giddy" when she's around The King of Staten Island star. Her interest in him was only further confirmed after she brought him to her mother, Kris Jenner's Palm Springs home. A picture of this gathering was shared and the new couple was even sporting matching SKIMS apparel. Taking Davidson to see her mom is apparently a big deal and everyone seems to be happy for her.
Kardashian is currently amidst a divorce with her husband, rapper Kanye West. She filed for divorce in February. A source had told Page Six at the time, “Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot. She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile, Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.” Kanye had in turn grown tired of the Kardashians' over-the-top lifestyle. He said that he wanted nothing to do with the family and added that he eventually found their reality show “unbearable.” They share four children, North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.
Davidson has dated many celebrities including Ariana Grande, whom he was engaged to briefly. He has also dated Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qually, Kaia Gerber, and Phoebe Dynevor whom he broke up with earlier this year. He had recently made light of the dating rumors and on Late Night with Seth Meyers, when asked about walking hand in hand with Kardashian, said, "There's a lot of people I walk by, people are like whispering, and, you know, making eyes at me. And, you know, but it is true. I do have a show on Tubi coming out," shifting focus to promoting his new show, The Freak Brothers.
