While it is best to watch all the films from the beginning, it is unreasonable to expect anyone to do so, and let’s be real if you’re on this page, you’ve watched all the films at least once. So this is like a revision for you. With that in mind, however, even if you’re a first-time watcher, you may not have a clue about other characters but you sure will get enough context for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as you go down this list.

While this is a major deep cut for those who know, it is better to see this film for two reasons, one being Ulysses Klaue and the second being the slight mention of the name Wakanda in the film. However, watching Ulysses Klaue will definitely pay off later in the films.

This is the first time we are treated with a visual of our titular character on screen. After some major inciting events for the character, we see him don the suit and join a team to better benefit his position and bring the perpetrator to justice. When the Sokovia Accords were signed, there were many casualties left in its wake and that is exactly the position we see T’Challa come in first.

This is the first installment in the stand-alone series and takes place just after a week from the events that transpired in the Civil War film. We see T’Challa come into his own as king and deal with possible outside forces that may threaten his lifestyle. It is explored that these enemies are of our own creation and carry ideologies that are valid. The film shows many ways Chadwick Boseman is talented beyond understanding.

We see the war happening on his turf in this film. The man rallies troops and creates a safe haven for people who have been wronged and slighted after the events in Black Panther. However, it is here that we see something catastrophic happening that ruins the Wakandans, but fear not because they have Okoye. She is a fearless leader with unafraid to do as she wants and the next film proves that.

The unthinkable has happened and there are only a few ways we can keep going, even though we only see the Wakandans for a short period of time, it is an appearance that is as important as any in the MCU. With heroes flying in and the entire MCU on screen in a long time, the film is a great culmination of the saga, opening up new avenues for the characters.

While this writer has tried their best to skirt away from the spoilers, it has rendered the descriptions of the film slightly mysterious if not, not-at-all-helpful. However, as you progress through these films, their descriptions start to gain more context and become exciting later.
