How The Avengers Were Supposed To Look Like According To Comics

Marvel Studios did a great job at adapting our favorite heroes to film but in order to do so they had to make some changes. Here's how the Avengers were actually supposed to look.

Falcon

Falcon had the biggest change to his suit among all the Avengers. In the comics, Falcon's suit is red and white and he had an eye mask. In the films he wears a dark metal suit with dark red patches.

Thor

In Infinity War and Thor Ragnarok Thor lost the helmet . But before these films he looked very similar to the comics.

Vision

FunnyPig's YouTube channel posted a photoshop image of what Vision was supposed to look like according to the comics. As you can see, the colors of his costume were a different color in the film.

Black Widow

In Infinity War Black Widow had blonde hair but in the comics she has red hair. But if you look at the earlier films with Black Widow in the MCU she looks very similar to the comics.

Black Panther

Nothing really changed with the Black Panther costume except for the metal embellishments around his hips and wrists. The mask also has a bit more definition.

Captain America

In the first Avengers film and the first Captain America film Cap's costume was very similar to the comics. But it eventually changed to be a bit more protective and darker.

Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange was pretty well depicted in the films. The costume in the film looks very similar to the comics with the only difference really being the gloves.

Scarlet Witch

Scarlet Witch never really wears a suit in the film. She usually just wears normal clothes. But she usually looks so good in her clothes that I don't think she even needs a costume.

Star-Lord

Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol. 2 (Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures) / Marvel Comics

Star-Lord has remained quite faithful to the comics. The costume looks exactly the same with the only major difference being the length of the cape.

Iron Man

Even though the Iron Man suit has changed multiple times in the film, it hasn't really gone very far from the depictions in the comics.

Spiderman

Avengers: Infinity War (Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures) / Marvel Comics

The Spiderman suit has always stayed true to the comics. But in the latest Spiderman film "Homecoming" Tony Stark made a few changes to the suit.

Hulk

Thor: Ragnarok (Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures) / Marvel Comics

Hulk has remained the same throughout all the films. He's big and he's green!
