Get Even Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

Fans of Pretty Little Liars found another binge-watch-worthy series in the form of Get Even, a teen thriller series on BBC iPlayer and Netflix.

The show follows a group of four classmates who calls themselves DGM (Don’t Get Mad…Get Even). These four girls have a noble goal of exposing their private high school’s bullies and fighting cruelty in their school.

However, things took a different turn, and the girls suddenly found themselves entangled in a huge mess after getting framed for murder.

After a successful season 1 that generated a huge buzz from both streaming platforms, can we expect season 2 to follow?

Here’s everything we know so far.

Has Get Even Been Renewed For Season 2?

As of this writing, there is still no news regarding Get Even’s renewal for season 2. Despite not having a public cancellation, the show is listed as canceled on Wikipedia. But with the “uncancellation” of Warrior Nun, Netflix has opened the door for more shows being raised from the dead.

Season one consisted of 10 episodes which were released on BBC iPlayer on 14 February 2020 and landed on Netflix on July 31, 2020.

Both streamers have kept silent regarding the show’s renewal status. Get Even fans who got hook by season 1 episodes have been relentlessly asking for season 2.

Fans shouldn’t worry too much, though. In terms of the source material, there is still plenty left for the show to cover. Get Even is based on a book series by Gretchen McNeil. A sequel book is already published, and we can only assume that this will cover season 2’s plot. We’ll discuss this more below.

When Will Get Even Season 2 Release?

The show is yet to get renewed for season 2, but if they manage to secure the renewal and start filming soon, then there’s a chance we could see season 2 by 2024.

We’ll keep you posted for updates.

What Will Be The Plot Of Get Even Season 2?

After the girls managed to capture the confession of Logan and exposed his story, the girls received a piece of sad news.

Kitty confessed that the school would no longer renew her scholarship. The girls promised to help Kitty and make this their new mission.

Now that Kitty’s future is at stake, it’s up to the rest of the DGM to help save her scholarship.

The DGM has stirred the pot of the powerful people behind Bannerman school after exposing the malpractices of its students and staff.

More than just exposing bullies, the DGM will now face a much more significant threat: the secret society of rich people who’s intention are far more sinister than expected.

The plot is just getting thicker, and we’re looking at McNeil’s book 2 for possible clues for season 2.

The sequel novel titled Don’t Get Mad Get Dirty’s synopsis reveals more danger is on the way for the rest of the DGM.

Can’t wait to find out what happened to the DGM? You may take a look and read the sequel novel Don’t Get Mad, Get Dirty through McNeil’s website.

Who Will Be In The Cast Of Get Even Season 2?

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it’s likely for the main cast to reprise their roles and continue the narrative for season 2.

These include the DGM members Kim Adis as Kitty Wei, Mia McKenna-Bruce as Bree Deringer, Bethany Antonia as Margot Rivers, and Jessica Alexander as Olivia Hayes.
