'Fena: Pirate Princess' is a fictional anime set in the 18th century. The first season of the anime was produced as part of a collaboration between Crunchyroll and Adult Swim. 'Fena: Pirate Princess' was created by Kazuto Nakazawa and animated by Japanese animation studio Production I.G.
'Fena: Pirate Princess' has received great reviews for its intriguing thriller and romantic comedy moments scattered between the fast-moving plotlines. Although many have criticized its immediate ending, others wish to see more of Fena and her friends.

Season 1 'Fena Pirate Princess' premiered on August 15, 2021, on Crunchyroll and Adult Swim's Toonami. The season finale aired on October 24, 2021, and consists of 12 episodes with a running time of 25 minutes approximately.
As of this writing, there is no confirmation on the official renewal of 'Fena Pirate Princess' Season 2. However, season 1 earned a substantial fan base and appreciable viewership, which increases the chances of having a second installment of the series. If Fena Pirate Princess Season 2 will renew this year. We can expect 'Fena: Pirate Princess' season 2 to premiere sometime in 2022.
In Season 1, Fena runs away from her life as a servant in a brothel. Sailing with her samurai friends, she escapes from the island and tries to discover her past. Fena learns the truth about her identity as a princess and discovers that her unpleasant experience has been a series of tests given to the Observer to justify her skills.
Furthermore, Fena learns that she is the Maiden of Choice. She is a descendant of Joan of Arc, who can destroy or reset the Earth. She decides to wipe the slate clean of the world and wipe all her memories. However, Yukimaru and the team help Fena to follow her journey to find fragments of her memories. Yukimaru admitted his love to a joyful Fena.
If season 2 happens, it could explore more of Fena's journey with her team. Her abilities might get tested more. The Maidens of Choice issue can also be explored more deeply. Perhaps, it will cover certain unspecified issues in the first season. Fena might learn to fight back as well. Yukimaru could get into trouble, and her team will have to save him. Since the original controversy over Fena's identity has been resolved in Season 1, the possibilities for Fena: Pirate Princess Season 2 are endless.
Japanese T.V. stations did not begin airing the show until October 2021. Season 1 was streaming on Crunchyroll with English subtitles, and the English dub was released on Adult Swim starting on August 28, 2021. If the anime returns for season 2, the main voice cast will likely return.
