The story is about a girl who manages to survive a heart transplant and begins to develop the personality traits of the person whose heart beats in her chest. Eventually, she realizes that the donor's death was not a pleasant one, because of which she might be possessed by the dead donor. As intriguing as this sounds, fans remain engrossed till the end of the show, and now they want to know whether there will be a second installment or not. So, here is everything we know about it.

Will There Be A 'Chambers' Season 2?

The heart-pounding supernatural horror series is over. Netflix canceled Chambers in June 2019, roughly two months after its premiere. The show didn’t garner enough buzz to secure a second season.

“Chambers will not return for a second season,” a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement via TV Line.

“We’re grateful to creator and showrunner Leah Rachel for bringing this story to us and to her fellow executive producers Alfonso Gomez Rejon, Steve Gaghan from Super Emotional, Winnie Kemp and Wolfgang Hammer from Super Deluxe, and Jennifer Yale. We’re also thankful to the tireless crew, and to our incredible cast, especially Uma Thurman, Tony Goldwyn, and talented newcomer Sivan Alyra Rose.”

When Will 'Chambers' Season 2 Release

'Chambers' is canceled after just one season. Therefore, season 2 is not coming to Netflix anymore.

What Could've Happened If 'Chambers' Got Renewed For Season 2?

Chambers

In season 2 of Chambers, there are many possibilities that could occur. Sasha's Uncle Frank is currently incarcerated after being falsely accused of murder. Fans will see him remain in prison until he is proven innocent. It is believed that The Annex orchestrated the murder to isolate Sasha. In the finale, Sasha demonstrated her ability to neutralize members of The Annex who had come to praise the spirit inside her. This indicates that Sasha is capable of achieving anything she sets her mind to. The spirit inhabiting Sasha is Lilith, who, according to Jewish mythology, is considered a demonic figure. Lilith appears to have exerted an evil influence over Becky, although The Annex views Lilith as a benevolent force and Sasha as her divine host. Season 2 will focus on Sasha defending herself against Lilith, now that Becky's spirit has departed. Sasha must decide whether to embrace her newfound powers or relinquish them entirely.

Sign The Petition To Bring Chambers Back

If you would really like to see Chambers return for a new season, you can sign the petition on Change.org. It currently has only 3243 votes. This is definitely not enough to see the show return for a second season. In the petition, the creator says:

"This show is a rare example of a Indigenous Woman in a staring role. Netflix FAILED to promote the show despite positive reviews and much online buzz within Native communities on social media."

They added:

"We, as Native woman, need representation in film, cinema & current roles. Too often Native actresses are type cast in historical roles which only further the concept that we are dead and gone. We ask that Netflix reconsider the cancellation of this show, and bring it back for a second season. We also ask NETFLIX to contribute more to the marketing and promotion of said show.

Having a show like this not only provides representation in a mainly white market, but it places new Indigenous actors alongside established talents such as Uma Thurman, who could help bolster it for more success & promotion. It is imperative that Native people have representation on platforms such as NETFLIX. BRING CHAMBERS BACK #savechambers."
