The new release date was officially declared at the Anime Expo 2019. According to the big reveal, one can expect to see the much-awaited show to finally hit the screens on August 15, 2019.

It is indeed rare to come across an anime TV web series that wins on two fronts: an amazing storyline and spectacular production. 'Cannon Busters' is one such show that does double duty, hence making it rare and worthy of watching. In 2005, it was first published as a comic book and was a creative story that was halfway between Japanese manga and classic American comic book. LeSean Thomas, who happens to be the co-creator of the series, started a crowdfunding campaign in 2014 for the series to get adapted into an animated series. Soon, after the anime adaptation was released, the show was picked up for a 12-episode by Netflix and the first season was released in 2017. The show was welcomed by the fans and they liked the way it was constructed, so they ever since then, fans have been waiting for the second installment of the anime show, to know what happens next.
