The new Jurassic Park movie has been a much-anticipated release after the success of the first two films in the reboot Jurassic World trilogy. Jurassic World: Dominion is the third installment of the trilogy and sequel to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018). The latest trailer of the film has taken fans of the franchise down memory lane as we are reintroduced to Laura Dern as Dr. Ellie Sattler, Sam Neill as Dr. Alan Grant, and Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm from the original Jurassic Park series. Chris Pratt as Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing are leading the film in the concluding chapter of the trilogy.

One exciting aspect of the film has been in the two generations of Jurassic Park actors coming together. Howard has been documenting her behind-the-scenes journey in the movie and was able to give us a heart-warming snap of the past and present actors in one frame. Taking to social media, Howard shared the picture with her co-stars and captioned it: LOVE. THESE. HUMANS. (the dinos are cool too.) The film is set to hit theaters on June 10, 2022, after several delays caused due to the pandemic.

The third film will pick up a few years after the events of the second film. At the end of the Fallen Kingdom, we saw the decision to allow the dinosaurs to exist freely in the wild. That decision now has serious consequences for the survival of the human race who have now become prey and are nearly erased from the face of the Earth. Dinosaurs are roaming about freely, forcing humans to live in close quarters with the creatures that had once upon a time vanished from the planet. These genetically engineered dinosaurs were auctioned to companies around the world and others were released in the US mainland. We will witness a worldwide adventure that explores the precarious balance between the dangerous creatures and humans as the dinosaurs start making their way to places of human habitation.

A few days ago, Goldblum also shared pictures with his original co-stars on social media. "REUNITED!!!!" he captioned the post as he posed along with Neill and Stern in front of the Jurassic Park logo.

Speaking about his experience filming for Dominion with his old pals, he told Cinema Blend: "The first thing that we shot ... it was a scene with me and Laura Dern and Sam Neil and we were — I can't tell you much — but we were all day in a very tight, enclosed space," he went on to add to the intrigue by saying, "You'll see — it's a mystery you'll solve when you see [the movie.] The three of us were in a tiny little space and we were being menaced by — I can't even tell you — a surprising faction of prehistoric creatures that you've never seen before."

Fans are eagerly waiting to see the OG trio back in action and it seems like they will play a significant role considering the trailer and what little teasers we have from the cast themselves.
