We have seen a fair share of drunken mistakes happening in comedy films and shows but Baby Fever is a notch above all that. A fertility doctor gets pregnant in the most unusual way and the aftermath of this mishap keeps getting more and more complicated with each episode. This Scandinavian medical comedy-drama was applauded for its solid lineup of actors and impressive writing when it first aired on Netflix. It’s only natural that the audience wants to know about the continuation or cancellation of the show after the credits roll for the first season. Renewal Status: Renewed
Baby Fever has been officially renewed by Netflix for a season 2. The announcement came in the form of a tweet on August 21, 2023, by Netflix Nordic. The tweet read:

The first season of this show arrived with 6 episodes and got a decent reaction from critics and fans all over the world. Unfortunately, we don't yet know when the second season is coming. We will update this space as soon as we get more details on the upcoming season. So stay tuned.
Netflix confirmed that the second season will consist of six episodes as well. The streaming giant also shared the plot of the upcoming season:
In the second season of Baby Fever, we meet Nana (Josephine Park), now mother to a two-month-old baby. But, as much as she adores her child, Nana hates being on maternity leave. So she begs her old boss, Helle, to give her back her job. Helle grudgingly agrees: but no mistakes and no lies this time! Nana promises to mend her ways and do better, whatever it takes to become the world’s best fertility doctor again! The only thing is she hasn’t given any thought to who will care for her baby while she’s at work. Reluctantly, she ends up asking her mum to live in as a kind of permanent babysitter/roommate from hell. But Nana has no choice, because more than ever she has to excel at her job now that the perfect new star doctor, Hampus, has stepped into her shoes in her absence. Every day is a new mountain to climb, and to top it all, Mathias is still lurking in the wings. The great love of her life who got away, but also the love that doesn’t know he’s father to Nana’s baby. More than ever before, Nana needs to lie, and conversely, more than ever she needs to tell the truth…
The second season will see a group of returning cast members. We have Josephine Park as the protagonist Nana who is a fertility doctor, Olivia Joof Lewerissa plays Simone, Simon Sears as Mathias, and Charlotte Munck plays Helle. This series is directed by Amalie Næsby Fick and Nikolaj Feifer. The show is available for streaming on Netflix.
