Zero Day was a hit, but can we expect a second season?
By the end of the series, it was clear that the call (the devastating cyberattack) was coming from inside the House. De Niro’s character as the former president was in shock throughout the series, both when he found out who was behind the attack and when he felt the effects of the Proteus technology. There were more twists and turns until the end of the season, and people wanted more because they could watch the whole thing in one sitting.
Is Zero Day Season 2 Happening?
Short answer, no.
Zero Day is still being called a “limited series” by Netflix, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be a second season. Do you remember how The Bear, Big Little Lies, The White Lotus, and Presumed Innocent were all called “limited series”? Right on. In fact, The Bear is about to start its fourth season.
So with all this mind, it is possible that the show could return for a second season. But as of right now, the show is cancelled. We’ll keep an eye out to see how this develops.
