Will There Be 'Young Sheldon' Season 5?

Yes, there is! 'Young Sheldon' is officially returning for a fifth season.

The fourth season of 'Young Sheldon' only had 18 episodes, five less than its previous outings. Fans should be relieved because our favorite, genius, young man will be coming back for more.

Due to its popularity, CBS renewed 'Young Sheldon' not just for one, but three more seasons. The series will run at least until 2023- 2024. The renewal came even before season 4 ended. CBS very rarely orders shows for multi-years. But with 'Young Sheldon' continuing to be the most-watched comedy show on television, CBS did the right move.

When Will 'Young Sheldon' Season 5 Release?

The fifth season of 'Young Sheldon' will premiere on CBS on October 7, 2021. The past three seasons of the series premiered in late September. Season 1 premiered on September 25, 2017, season 2 on September 24, 2018, and season 3 on September 26, 2019. However, the fourth season faced production delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic. What Is The Plot Of 'Young Sheldon' Season 5?

The ending of 'Young Sheldon' Season 4 left Sheldon's parents in a negative situation. George is frustrated with how his life has ended. He gets into a loud fight with his wife Mary, and young Georgie witnessed it all. George then grabs his keys and went straight to the bar. Brenda Sparks (Melissa Peterman) was also there, asking if he wants company.

In the 10th Season of Big Bang Theory, Sheldon mentioned that his father was cheating on his mother. This reference could happen in season 5. An earlier episode of 'Young Sheldon' season 4 also seemed to hint that George is going to die. All signs seem to point that the fate of George's character will not be so sunny this season.
