Hate Spoilers? You Can Now Get £100 Compensation If Somebody Spoils Game Of Thrones For You

Tired of the pain and sorrows that are cause by unwanted GOT spoilers? Well we honestly can't control the spoilers but maybe a £100 will make you feel better.

We at Trinikid sometimes dabble in spoilers but generally, we try not to or at least give you a prior warning but reporting on entertainment content is about to become way more dangerous as posting spoilers may soon become an offence.

I, personally don't get to see GOT on Sunday because of time differences and early mornings and usually have to brave the day, avoiding all media until Monday evening when I can safely watch the new episodes. So trust me I understand your pain when something is ruined and it may even seem inconsolable depending on the infraction, but now things are changing.

Sometimes the urge is just too strong.

Now a disgruntled Game of Thrones fan can be compensated for a sum up to £100 from Endsleigh if they have fallen prey to wayward spoilers. Persons making claims can also receive a NowTV pass so that they can watch any episode from any season whenever they want to. However, there, is always a catch. There are a limited number of payouts available so you need to act fast and submit a summary (100 words) of how the plot was ruined with other relevant evidence.

Julia Alpan who is the head of marketing at Endsleigh had this to say:

Game of Thrones is one of the biggest shows of the last decade and the finale promises to bring in some of the largest audiences on record. With the show historically airing on US screens ahead of the UK, spoilers have always been an issue – so we wanted to address that head on with the first ever spoiler insurance policy, that will offer financial compensation for anyone whose day is ruined by an unwanted plot reveal.

The opportunity comes to a close on the 26th May and all successful claimants will be contacted on Friday 31st of May.
