Machine Gun Kelly proposed to Megan Fox and she said yes!

The couple announced their engagement on social media by sharing the moment MGK went down on one knee and popped the question. Sharing the video, Fox, 35, wrote: "In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma." She continued, "Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes." She then went on to conclude with: "…and then we drank each other’s blood."

The two of them met while filming the movie, Midnight in the Switchgrass. She was also featured in MGK's song, Bloody Valentine. Several weeks after the release of the single, they made their relationship public. The relationship made headlines especially after they were featured on the cover of GQ. In the interview, Fox said: "Our souls chose this to absolutely have to face our shadow selves; to face things about ourselves we didn’t want to have to know, that we tried to push away." MGK added, "It’s ecstasy and agony for sure... I don’t want people to think anything’s perfect with us. I didn’t say it was the darkest fairy tale for no reason."

MGK whose real name is Colson Baker, 31, also shared a video of his now-fiancée showing off her stunning ring, with a touching caption that read: "'yes, in this life and every life.' Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me." He then explained the idea behind the two-stone studded ring he proposed with, "I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love."

They are known to have an eccentric relationship that gained momentum. Before the blood involved in their engagement, MGK shared on Instagram that he wears some of Fox's blood in a necklace. A source told PEOPLE, "Megan is very happy. They got serious quickly and have a great relationship."

Sharing how the relationship feels, MGK had said: "When it's summer, it's the hottest summer. When it's winter, it's the most amazing chill. In the fall and spring, it's a beautiful transition. She is unlike any person I have ever met in my life." He added, "I don't think people get the opportunity to believe in real, great love, and that's what we have together."
