XO, Kitty Season 3: Everything We Know So Far

The Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) will resume classes sppm. However, similar to XO, Kitty Season 1, Kitty Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart) and her friends spent much more time romancing than studying.

Kitty learned that she shares a room with her crush, Yuri (Gia Kim), as well as Yuri’s girlfriend, Juliana (Regan Aliyah), at the start of this season of the To All the Boys spin-off. Additionally, the matchmaker’s ex-boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi) is having a hard time moving on from their relationship, while Kitty attempts to move on by dating the new girl Praveena (Sasha Bhasin). Kitty’s friendship with It Boy Min-ho (Sang Heon Lee) of KISS also takes a turn for the worst, adding to the complexity. Even though she rejected him at the conclusion of Season 1, Kitty discovers she has fallen in love with Min-ho throughout XO, Kitty Season 2. And of course it happens when he’s now dating someone else — Stella (Audrey Huynh), a transfer student with a secret agenda. All of this means that love hexagons are here to replace love triangles.

Has XO, Kitty Been Renewed For Season 3?

XO, Kitty has been officially renewed for season 3.

“I’m so excited to head back to Seoul for another season with our incredible cast and crew. If you thought junior year at KISS brought the drama…just wait,” Showrunner Jessica O’Toole said. “I know we left fans on a cliffhanger at the end of Season 2 but I can promise season 3 will be worth the wait, including our first summer episode — not to mention plenty of romance, friendship, adventure…and kissing. Lots of kissing.”

When Will XO, Kitty Season 3 Be Released?

The release date for XO, Kitty has not yet been confirmed. However, based on the time between the first two seasons, we anticipate an approximate 18-month to two-year wait before Season 3 premieres.

The Ending Of XO, Kitty Season 2

By “Sealed With a Kiss,” the season two conclusion of XO, Kitty, the main dispute has been settled. Stella’s attempts to overthrow the Moon family are foiled during the Moon’s Young Talent exhibition. She was just pursuing Min-ho in order to destroy his father (Philippe Lee), who had degraded her on national television years prior. It goes without saying that after she is discovered, Min-ho and Stella’s relationship ends. “I liked you, for real,” Stella acknowledges in their final conversation. “Only, I could tell your heart was never fully in it anyways.”

That prepares Min-ho and Kitty for a fresh start. Kitty is aware of her love for him at this point, and in the last scene of XO, Kitty Season 2, she seems prepared to confess. However, after getting burned by Stella, Min-ho tells her he’s vowing to never again be in a relationship. “I think I was better off as a playboy,” he continues. Kitty is hesitant to confess because of that. Also, Min-ho is about to leave KISS to go on a summer tour with his brother Joon Ho (Peniel Shin).

“Maybe it’s not our time. Not yet,” Kitty’s inner voice says in the finale’s last moments. “Or maybe…” She stops Min-ho and asks to join on the summer tour. So, unlike the episode title suggests, their story was not “sealed with a kiss.” But at least the Season 2 ending primes the audience for a full-on love story between Kitty and Min-ho in the next season — exactly why we need XO, Kitty to be renewed ASAP.
