Marvel Studios Will Reportedly Recast All The X-Men Except Deadpool.

The Disney/Fox merger is very close to completion and this would mean X-Men and Deadpool will become a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So what will become of the franchises? 

Well, there is word that Marvel boss, Kevin Fiege is planning a complete overhauling of the X-Men cast with the exception of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool.

The new cast will reportedly include relatively well known actors in their mid to late 20s with Xavier and Magneto being somewhere between 35 and 55. I can think of so many actors right now and I may even consider writing an article of my picks for the cast. Stay tuned for that.

I like the current cast of characters but I feel as though the story itself has just gotten too out of hand and needs a full revamping. And now that wolverine is no longer going to be played by Hugh Jackman it's time for a new leaf.

Deadpool, however, is still fresh and doing well. And I'm sure that Disney isn't going to risk losing fans by sacking Ryan Reynolds. I mean, can you think of anyone else who can play Deadpool? I can't. Anyone else just wouldn't be Deadpool. Most feel the same way about Wolverine but Hugh Jackman has been playing Wolverine for so long that recasting him is forgivable.

But, we're still a long way from getting an official announcement on this. So, for now let's just think about getting our butts in the theaters June 7th 2019 to see Dark Phoenix.
