Has Wolf King Been Renewed For Season 2?
Not quite.
According to what we know, the show likely got an advance order for x number of episodes, just like many other animated shows. Several people who work on the show say that it was given an initial order for 16 episodes, each lasting 22 minutes. Of course, season 1 came out with eight shows, so there are still eight more to go.
Curtis Jobling’s website is one sign that the show will end after season 2. There, it states, “Curtis has remained actively involved throughout the production, adapting all six novels as lead writer and associate producer.” That makes it sound like season 2 will be the show’s official finish.
It’s important to note that the animation team, which is also working on Netflix’s upcoming show The Twits, recently shut down because of stresses in the industry.
