When Will 'Why Women Kill' Season 2 Release?

Release Date: June 3, 2021.

The second season for 'Why Women Kill' is finally coming on June 3, 2021. Just like most television shows and productions worldwide, 'Why Women Kill' suffered delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Filming for the series, along with three other projects shooting at CBS Studio Center, was temporarily suspended on November 11, 2020, after one of the shows' shared production staff tested positive for COVID-19.

Production for the shows affected resumed on November 13.

On April 28, 2021, a teaser trailer was released revealing that 'Why Women Kill' Season 2 will premiere on Paramount+ on June 3, 2021.

What Is The Plot Of 'Why Women Kill' Season 2?

'Why Women Kill' is an anthology series following the lives of different characters in different episodes. The first season revolves around three women who lived in the same Pasadena mansion in different decades and experienced infidelity in their marriages.

Unlike the previous season, the new installment of the anthology series will take place in the same year instead of being separated by decades. The second season will also introduce two protagonists, whose personal life and relationship and familial struggles will be depicted throughout the show.

The show's official logline read: "This season of the dark comedy features a new ensemble cast and storylines set in 1949 that will explore what it means to be beautiful, the hidden truth behind the facades people present to the world, the effects of being ignored and overlooked by society, and finally, the lengths one woman will go in order to finally belong."

Season 2 will focus on Alma (Allison Tolman), a "timid and awkward, yet optimistic" housewife who wishes to be allowed to join Rita Castillo's exclusive gardening club and marry off her daughter, Dee.

She soon learns that her seemingly kind and kind-hearted husband hides a dark secret that will change her life forever.
