‘Wellmania’ Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

Wellmania is Netflix’s latest comedy-drama from Australia. The show is based on the book written by the show’s creator, Brigid Delaney. The book is entitled Wellmania: Misadventures in the Search for Wellness. It follows food critic and human tornado Liv, who gets trapped in Australia after being diagnosed with “catastrophic health.” Her dream job in New York gets jeopardized, and she throws herself body-first into a radical wellness journey to return home. Now that season 1 is over can we expect a second one? Let’s explore.

Has Wellmania Been Renewed For Season 2?

Wellmania has yet to be renewed for a second season as of this writing. But there are positive signs pointing towards a renewal. The first is that the show broke into the top-ten lists of many countries, including the US, UK, and Australia. This a good enough sign, but Netflix still has to do a full review of viewing statistics before making a decision. We will update this article as new information is released.

What Could Be The Plot Of Wellmania Season 2?

The second season ends with Lorraine suddenly getting hit by a van. It happens as Lorraine is getting rid of Liv’s things in Sydney. The show ends with Gaz and Dalbert at the hospital trying to call Liv, but Liv misses the call while she’s caught up in her cooking show, leaving her unaware of her mother’s fate.

If there is a second season, it will most certainly address the fate of Lorraine after the crash. Did she survive? It will also address Liv’s response to her mother’s accident. She will have to decide between her career and her family, which could see her return to Australia.

Lachlan Buchanan as Gaz Healy
