It follows Cadence “Cady” Sinclair Eastman (Emily Alyn Lind) as she tries to regain her memories after suffering a traumatic brain injury while on vacation with her family. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy an adaptation?
Everyone is now, understandably, wondering if the world will see any more of the messy but lovable (and lovable) Sinclair family, as well as “The Liars,” the group of cousins and friends that comprise the main cast of the series. Here’s everything we know.
Will We Were Liars Return With Season 2?
Whether or not Season 2 of We Were Liars on Prime Video will air is currently unknown. As of June 20, the show has neither been canceled nor renewed.
Does The We Were Liars Series Have A Second Book?
Although E. Lockhart’s We Were Liars does not have a sequel, the author did write a prequel about the three Sinclair daughters—Penny, Carrie, and Bess—who were portrayed in the television series by Caitlin FitzGerald, Mamie Gummer, and Candice King, respectively. It is possible that Prime Video will also make the prequel into a series?
What Could We Were Liars Season 2 Be About?
It would make sense to watch Cady struggle in Summer 18 and deal with the aftermath from the drama that has developed over the past two summers if Prime Video decides to give the show a second season. Additionally, as of the conclusion, Cady and her grandfather Tipper Harris (played by David Morse) are no longer in a regular or healthy connection. If they return for more, it only makes logical that we should watch more drama play out.
