Warrior Nun dropped on Netflix last month, bringing an epic fight between angels and demons in the screens of the binge-watching community.
After jaw-dropping twists, season 1 ended with an intense cliffhanger, leaving the audience with so many unanswered questions.
Can we expect more episodes for the fantasy series? Let's dive deep.
Here's everything we know about the Warrior Nun season 2.
Great news! We'll definitely see more of Ava and the rest of the sisters! Netflix officially confirms Warrior Nun for season 2 yesterday!

The series premiered on Netflix on July 2, 2020. Netflix often takes at least 30 days to decide whether to renew a show or not.
Warrior Nun received mixed reviews from the audience and gathered only a 70% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
However, the show's viewership number mattered more for Netflix, hence the renewal.
On its first 30 days in the platform, Warrior Nun took the third spot for the biggest TV show on Netflix worldwide.
It also topped the charts for the most popular TV shows worldwide for July.

Warrior Nun hit the number one spot in Brazil, the Netherlands, and New Zealand.
It ranked number 6 in the United States and number 4 in the United Kingdom. During its peak in the US, Warrior Nun sat at the second spot beating Unsolved Mysteries.
Netflix is yet to announce an official release date. However, we can expect the new season to arrive a little late.
If the team managed to start filming before the year ends, then we're likely to see season 2 around 2021.
We'll keep you posted for the latest updates on the fantasy series.
Warrior Nun follows a 19-year-old Ava, who wakes up in the morgue after she was given a second chance at life. Her new life comes with a new divine task that involves fighting powerful forces both from heaven and hell.
Season one had an open ending following a huge twist. Ava decided to destroy the remains of angel Adriel, who died after sacrificing his halo to the Order to save her.
However, when Ava arrived at his tomb, she was surprised to find out that Adriel is alive!
It was revealed that Adriel is a demon who stole a halo to avoid getting captured. He carried on with the angel act to dispose of the halo and get the Knights Templar to fight for him.
Father Vincent was revealed to be working for Adriel and had been manipulating Ava all along.
If the series gets renewed for season 2, we're expecting the series' overarching plot to explore how Ava and her fellow nuns will react with the fact that the Order was founded on lies.
It's up to them now to find a way to stop Adriel and his evil plan.
Plus, there are major questions left unanswered in season 1, such as what happened to JC and where Michael went.
We're expecting season 2 to provide us with answers. Good thing though, showrunners already have everything covered.
Speaking to Inverse, showrunner Simon Barry revealed: "When we were finishing Season 1, we had many more avenues to go down story-wise. So we created a folder thinking, hey, if we're lucky enough to get Season 2, here are some things we could draw from. After seeing the show completed, we regrouped just to talk about ideas."
We're expecting major cast members to reprise their roles.
They are Alba Baptista as Ava Silva, Toya Turner as Sister Mary/Shotgun Mary, Thekla Reuten as Jillian Salvius, Lorena Andrea as Sister Lilith, Kristina Tonteri-Young as Sister Beatrice, Tristan Ulloa as Father Vincent, Sylvia De Fanti as Mother Superion.
We're also expecting to see a lot of William Miller as Adriel after he was revealed as the main villain in season 1.
Netflix often drops trailers at least a month before the show's set to premiere on the platform. As mentioned, it's likely to take a while before we get a glimpse of season 2 through an official trailer.
In the meantime, let's take a look at season 1's official trailer. You can still watch Warrior Nun on Netflix.
