The show is currently the 6th highest-rated drama in the history of TvN, and the 9th highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history.

When Will ‘Vincenzo’ Season 2 Release?

The first episode of 'Vincenzo' Season 1 premiered on February 20, 2021, while the finale was on May 2, 2021. The series consists of 20 episodes with a running time of 60 minutes. The entire series was released on tvN and is also available on Netflix for a universal audience.

As of this writing, there is no official announcement regarding the renewal or cancelation of the series, but it seems unlikely to return. 

Despite its commercial success, Song Joong Ki revealed that there are no discussions for season 2 and there might never be in the future.

"There are no discussions about season two at all. I'm thankful that there seem to be many people who want it. It is unlikely that there will be any internal discussions about season two in the future," Song Joong Ki said via Devdiscourse.

What Is The Plot Of ‘Vincenzo’ Season 2?

The story follows the life of Park Joo-Hyung’s character, who is an adopted child by an Italian family. Growing up in Italy, he renamed himself, Vincenzo Cassano. He joined a Mafia group and started working for them as a Lawyer. For some reason, he came back to South Korea. There, he met Hong Cha-Young and fell in love with her.

After exacting his revenge from the Babel Group, Vincenzo was forced to flee to Malta. He left the gold in Hong Cha-Young's care. Will Vincenzo will able to get back to her love interest and the gold?
