Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin Will Reportedly Appear In The Upcoming Hawkeye Disney+ Series

Vincent D’Onofrio is reportedly going to sport Wilson Fisk's big bald head once again in the upcoming Disney+ series.

Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin

Vincent D’Onofrio is reportedly set to return as Kingpin in the upcoming Hawkeye series. This is according to a post by a moderator on r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers

The source had also mentioned that Charlie Cox was supposed to return as Daredevil for the series but was unable to due to scheduling conflicts.

Vincent D’Onofrio's appearance in the Hawkeye series may seem surprising to the untrained eye. However, he actually ties in quite close to the plot.

The deaf hero, Maya Lopez, will be making her debut in the Hawkeye series. She is better known as Echo and is played by Alaqua Cox.

Maya Lopez became the adopted daughter of crime boss Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin after her real father was killed under Fisk's orders.

With the appearance of Maya Lopez in the Hawkeye series it will be pivotal for Kingpin to also appear. And with Vincent D’Onofrio's amazing portrayal of Kingpin in the Daredevil series, there is no point in replacing him.

It's also quite possible that Echo may get a Disney+ series of her own. If that happens we can expect to not only see Vincent D’Onofrio's Kingpin return, but also Charlie Cox's Daredevil.

The Kingpin has often used Echo to get to Matt Murdock in the past but it backfired as Murdock and Lopez ended up developing a romantic interest in each other.

The Disney+ Hawkeye series is set to hit the streaming platform sometime in November 2021 but no exact release date has been officially announced.

Hawkeye and No Way Home are set to release around the same time due to some reported links in the plot. This reported link between Spider-Man and Hawkeye can further cement the return of Vincent D’Onofrio's Kingpin. We'll keep you updated on any new developments.
