Vampire Knight Season 3: Everything We Know So Far

Animes are best suited for those who love binge-watching dark fantasy, as there are many storylines and dramas that come under the dark fantasy genre. Similar to that is the very popular ‘Vampire Knight,’ which in Japanese is known as ‘Vanpaia Naito.’ This is an amazing dark fantasy anime series based on a manga series of the same name. Fans have enjoyed this anime series and are now waiting for the third season to come.

The manga of the same name is written and illustrated by Matsuri Hino, and the first one got published more than 15 years ago on November 4, 2004, and continued till May 24, 2013. In that duration, the manga was picked up for the adaptation into anime television series, and soon the first season of ‘Vampire Knight’ premiered on April 8, 2008. The show was a big hit right when it premiered for the first time as an anime series, and this led to the birth of the second season. The second season soon came out on November 26, 2008. However, fans now feel incredibly disappointed not to hear or see any new information regarding season 3. They are hoping for season 3 to happen, but they are battling the question – Will there be season 3 of ‘Vampire Night’? Let’s see what we can find out and what we know about the third season.

When Can We Expect The Third Season Of ‘Vampire Knight’ To Come?

The second season of Vampire Knight, which was titled Vampire Knight: Guilty, premiered for the first time on-screen on October 7, 2008, and ran till December 30 of the same year. But, there has been a long pause ever since the second one came out, and there is no news about whether or not Vampire Knight will be renewed for the third time. Even though we do not have any official announcement about the third installment, let’s look at the possibilities that can keep our faith back in the third installment’s renewal.

Fans of Vampire Knight have started a petition to bring back the popular anime series for a third season. The petition has gained an impressive number of over 52,000 signatures. One of the reasons fans are eager for a new season is due to the abrupt and bizarre ending of season 2. Additionally, there is plenty of source material from the manga that could be used to create a brand new season. Despite this, it’s unclear why Studio Deen is taking so long to make a third season.

Kiyoko Sayama, the director of the first two seasons, expressed his desire to work on another season of Vampire Knight. He wants to make the third season even better than the previous two.
